Required skills & experience:
- Two or more years of customer service experience
- Excellent data entry skills with ability to maintain speed and accuracy
- Strong proof reading skills, including, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work tasks
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure while meeting
short deadlines
- Capable of working with a team as well as other departments
- Ability and drive to learn new tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Lotus Notes or another email program.
Knowledge of Excel and Access. Experience with Acrobat Professional is
desirable
- Experience using office equipment, such as scanner, copy machines and
fax machines
Description of duties & responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between Analyst and the Product Implementation and
Business Support Department (PIBS) with respect to form and page variations
- Assemble/upload/transmit filing and related correspondence
- Enter filing/approval status into database; check received approvals
for accuracy and completeness; advise immediate supervisor of any discrepancies
- Communicate to other departments when forms are filed, disapproved
or approved. Communicate the need for procedure changes to the appropriate
department(s)
- Respond to routine requests for copies of approved forms or filings
- Query state filings/approvals and other databases upon request
- Organize pending and approved state filings, printed pages, print requests
and scanned records for Records Retention
- Update/maintain Filing Status and Developmental spreadsheets
- Update/maintain electronic departmental procedure manual
- Clerical backup for EFT journal entries
Education Required: Associates Degree or equivalent experience

Required skills & experience:
- 5 years of life insurance illustration experience
- 5 years of experience in creating/comparing illustrations and understanding
insurance regulations relating to life insurance illustrations and advertising
are all important
- 5 years of experience in direct sales (in an agency) or sales support
(in a home office)
- Experience with concepts relating to marketing permanent life insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral and using
both technical and non-technical language
- Ability to analyze product information and identify sales opportunities
- Advanced computer skills (e.g. Lotus, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Description of duties & responsibilities: The primary
purpose of this position is to assist with the development, delivery and
support of all Company illustration systems, produce marketing materials,
and computer software tools used in the sale of individual life insurance
products. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop product specifications to be used in the development, delivery
and support of all Company product illustration systems
- Assist in the evaluation of products of various competitors appropriate
to markets served by the Company
- Develop individual life product marketing materials (print and electronic
versions) and coordinate product implementation and introduction efforts
- Coordinate and participate in systems review, maintenance, and quality
assurance processes
- Assist in sales support effort related to both basic and advanced marketing
illustrations and concepts
- Provide field training and education- this includes web-based and in-person
training (some travel required)
- Evaluate and support commercial computer software tools used in the
sales of SML individual life insurance products
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
experience required. A focus in Finance, Accounting or Business is helpful.
